Tap I Age 9+ Tap II/III Age 11+ Adult/Teen Beginner Tap Adult Int/ Tap Students learn tap-rhythm and timing utilizing syncopation, shading, and building on basic steps. Jazz I Age 9+ Jazz II Age 11+ Jazz III Age 14+ Contemporary /Lyrical Age 9-12 Contemporary/Lyrical Age 13+ One of the most fun and popular styles in American history; Jazz dancing incorporates isolation, flexibility, and rhythm. Students learn to apply their dance technique to various types of music and explore many jazz styles, including lyrical, contemporary, and jazz funk. ***Dress Code: Leotard, dance shorts or yoga pants are OK, tan or black tights, Revolution brand slip on jazz shoes (black or tan) Hair secured back off of face Rhythm Works Integrative music and movement program (middle school- Adult) Miss Alison & Mr.Mike Wrench Music, rhythm, and movement for all, an inclusive class that focuses on skill development, self-empowerment, and celebrating our differences. A clinically based program that utilizes sensory processing, kinesiology, amd behavioral analysis as a foundation to build customizable classes. Open to all special needs students and adults. |
Hip Hop: Miss Kizzy & Miss Maddie
Age 7-8 Age 9-10 Age 11-13 Age 14+ This ever popular dance style is growing more and more by the day! Students will be exposed to the many fun and creative forms of this dance style including popping, locking, free-style, old school and funk. Jazz class is highly recommended in addition to Hip Hop. ***Dress Code: Comfortable clothing, smooth bottom sneakers worn in classroom only, not worn outside. Age 5&6 Ballet/Tap/Tumbling Age 7-8 Ballet/Tap/Jazz A great place for our young dancers to be introduced to the fundamentals of Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop dancing and Tumbling. ***(Girls)Dress Code: Black leotard, pink tights, Revolution brand pink ballet & dark tan tap shoes, hair secured back in ponytail or bun. Musical Theatre Dance: Miss Kizzy & Miss Maddie Age 11-13 Age 14+ A form of theatrical performance that combines acting and dance all into one!
